SignalOps helps ecommerce operators detect revenue leaks, refund pressure, repeat-purchase changes, and product-level risk. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and how we protect it.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide and improve SignalOps:
- Account information such as name, email address, company name, authentication state, and plan.
- Uploaded commerce data, such as CSV files and analysis outputs provided by a workspace user.
- Connected commerce data from integrations the merchant authorizes, such as Shopify order and product data.
- Support messages submitted through in-app forms, including the requester email and message content.
- Technical data such as request logs, error logs, device/browser metadata, and security events.
Customer Data and Marketing Consent
Some future SignalOps workflows may use customer-level data to help merchants create approved action segments, such as winback or retention segments. When customer-level data is used, SignalOps will use it only to provide merchant-facing product functionality.
SignalOps does not automatically send marketing messages to a merchant's customers. Customer actions must be reviewed and approved by the merchant. Where email actions are involved, SignalOps is designed to distinguish customers who are marketable by email from customers who should be excluded because marketing consent is unavailable or not present.
How We Use Information
- To generate revenue leak diagnoses, metrics, recommendations, and reports.
- To maintain user accounts, billing state, support responses, and workspace settings.
- To power merchant-approved action workflows, exports, and campaign drafts.
- To monitor reliability, prevent abuse, debug errors, and protect the service.
- To comply with legal, platform, and security obligations.
Data Minimization
SignalOps asks for the minimum data needed for the feature being used. For Shopify and other commerce integrations, we avoid requesting unnecessary customer addresses, phone numbers, payment details, or unrelated profile fields unless a future feature clearly requires them and the merchant authorizes that use.
Data Sharing
We do not sell merchant or customer data. We may share data with service providers that help us operate SignalOps, such as hosting, email delivery, payments, observability, and customer support providers. These providers are used only to deliver the service.
Retention and Deletion
We retain account, workspace, analysis, and integration data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Merchants can disconnect integrations and may request deletion of workspace data by contacting support.
Contact
For privacy questions or data requests, contact us through the in-app support form or email the SignalOps team at the support address configured for the product.
